Desiree has been serving Alfalfa County since 2019. She has taken on the role of Deed Expert and has become very knowledgeable about many different types to legal transfers of land. She works with new businesses and regular business renditions, and processes 936 mobile home transfers. Desiree can assist with almost every need that arises in the office. If Desiree always tries to make your experience with this office a good and informative experience.

Jennifer assumed office in 2019 with the focus on fairness and consistency. Jennifer started in the Assessor's Office in visual inspection and mapping so she has knowledge of every property in the county. She advocates for the rights of taxpayers, and the equal application of the statutes. Jennifer is very committed to the county, communities and the kids we call neighbors. She is happy to assist with any need and considers it a pleasure to serve Alfalfa County.

Seth is our lead appraiser but he does so much more to serve Alfalfa County. His friendly nature and growing knowledge of many different construction types helps him to answer questions many taxpayers have about their values. He also helps with Ag Property renditions, Homestead Exemptions and mapping.

Jasmine is eager to learn and serve the public. She reviews sales, works Ag Card applications, and assists with deeds. Jasmine works business personal renditions, and works in Visual Inspection with Seth and helps with data input. If you meet Jasmine, she will do everything she can to assist you with a smile.

  • Appraises and assesses the real and personal property for the purpose of ad valorem taxation
  • Computes the ad valorem taxes due on all taxable property according to fair cash value
  • Prepares the assessment roll and delivers it to the County Board of Equalization for approval
  • Checks all exemptions
  • Delivers the tax roll to the County Treasurer for collection
  • Undergoes compliance checks by the Oklahoma Tax Commission
